It has transpired that the Qatari market requires this kind of project as it is rare in state of Qatar. The study has shown that there is a continuous demand on products of palm trees and dates, as well as offshoots produced via tissues. This is so for several reasons the most important of which is the continuous increase in growing palm trees produced by this type of offshoots as nearly 76720 palm tree offshoots were imported in 2016 alone. On the basis of this and on a study of supply and demand, which shows the existence of a large gap between the two, the extent of the need of the market for this product becomes clear. This negates the element of marketing risks or overstocking.
