Khalas dates are different than most dates you've had before. Less plump than a Medjool, but don't let that fool you- they are in a category of their own. These dates, fresh from the most recent harvest, have an elongated seed that is easily removable.

Khenaizi dates offers you the best of rich, dark sweetness with a dry, soft texture. These black dates originate from the UAE, and still retain the taste of sun-ripened sweetness, along with richness in Iron, Potassium and Protein.

Lulu dates are certainly a hidden treasure that only genuine date lovers are aware of. They are small and round in shape, with a medium to dark brown colour and a moderate level of sweetness.

Barhi dates also known as Barhee dates and Phoenix dates, are highly favored for their unique ability to be consumed throughout the date's three stages of ripeness: semi-ripe, or khalal, fully ripe, rutab, and dried and wrinkled, known as tamr.

Shishi dates can best be described as sweet to sour and feel dry when you eat them. They are wrinkly in appearance with a dark brown colour. Medically, based on their characteristics, Shishi dates are rich in fiber and are a great antioxidant for the body

It has transpired that the Qatari market requires this kind of project as it is rare in state of Qatar. The study has shown that there is a continuous demand on products of palm trees and dates, as well as offshoots produced via tissues. This is so for several reasons the most important of which is the continuous increase in growing palm trees produced by this type of offshoots as nearly 76720 palm tree offshoots were imported in 2016 alone. On the basis of this and on a study of supply and demand, which shows the existence of a large gap between the two, the extent of the need of the market for this product becomes clear. This negates the element of marketing risks or overstocking.
